Q. Does CancerAssist offer assistance to cancer patients on it’s own?
A. CancerAssist is a platform for NGOs and organisations who provide various services to cancer patients in India. Patients and/or their family members can get in touch with NGOs directly. When CancerAssist is directly contacted, we do undertake co-ordination.
Q. I need assistance for my cancer patient son but do not find any NGO listed in my city.
A. We make efforts to locate NGOs in every major city, but there are instances of no NGO being present offering the specific assistance in a particular city. In such cases do not hesitate to send a message to us so that we can find a solution.
Q. Can I contact the listed organisations on weekends and holidays?
A. Since the offices of NGOs may be closed on weekends and holidays, it is preferable that contact is made on phone or by visit on weekdays during working hours of 10 am to 5 pm.
Q. I find that listed NGO’s phone number or website to be non-functional.
A. Despite our best efforts to maintain an up-to-date database, you will find that a few phone numbers or website URLs are non-functional. In such cases, please send us a message and we shall revert to you quickly.
Q. How do I know that a listed organization has credibility?
A. The listed NGOs and organisations are engaged in selfless non-profit work to serve the underprivileged and needy. However, donor can always satisfy himself/herself by enquiring with the NGO / organisation or by visiting their website.
Q. We are an organization assisting cancer patients would like to be listed on CancerAssist platform.
A. Please send us complete details by Whatsapp or email. After due diligence by us, you will be listed.
Q. What would you expect from organisations and individuals visiting CancerAssist.in?
A. Please ‘Like’ us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and ask your relatives and friends to do likewise. Please publicize about CancerAssist, through the media and word-of-mouth.
